Teen Reach Adventure Camp
Teen Reach Adventure Camps (TRAC Aloha) are three-day, positive, faith-based camps nestled in the foothills of Mt. Hood. Our camps are specially designed for youth ages 12-15 residing in foster care in the Portland Metro. Campers will experience the outdoors while learning teamwork and participating in swimming, archery, low ropes course, and fun activities that improve trust and self-value and create lifelong memories.

-
Each camp focuses on safety by providing a unique ratio of one camp counselor to every two campers. Rather than being co-ed, each camp is single-sex to promote a greater level of comfort between staff and campers.
-
Volunteers are thoroughly screened and trauma-trained, and equipped with tools to help campers learn teamwork, trust, and self-value. Each camp has a doctor/nurse and a licensed mental health professional (behavioral specialist) who are available to meet the needs of campers.
-
Every youth is offered complete confidentiality. No volunteers will take photos, other than the camp photographer who will take pictures for individual camper photo albums. AlI TRAC promotional videos/pictures will be edited for confidentiality.
-
Campers explore the wilderness, enjoy outdoor and water activities, make crafts, and participate in a low-level challenge course designed to build self-respect, teamwork, trust, and communication while having fun. Through encouragement and quality time with each teen, volunteers at TRAC strive to give campers a sense of hope that their past doesn't have to define their future.

Sponsor a Camper!
For $300 you can sponsor one youth in foster care to attend camp.
Your sponsorship gives campers an opportunity to work through challenges in a supportive environment, build confidence, and learn to process their stories. You will be giving the gift of an experience they will remember for years to come. Thank you!
